If a one-run loss to the, currently, #1 team in the league dropped us
two spots in the power rankings, we don’t want to know what would have
happened if we lost by 4-5 runs. It will be interesting to see if Suck
My Kick gets similar treatment after their similar one-run loss to
District 5.
This week we look to get back to our winning ways against Menace 2
Sobriety, a team that has been blown out by their competitors the past
two weeks. Nevertheless, it is too early in the season to know if this
will be a reoccurring theme or if those scores are more of a testament
to Balls Against Humanity’s and Rekickulous’ offensive prowess.
Luckily, our offense has clicked early on this season and that bodes
well against a team that has allowed thirty-seven runs this season. If
we can shore up our defensive effort, we like our chances going into
this week’s match.
Sometimes I forget how seriously people take the power rankings, but I just checked and YES, Suck My Kick got the same treatment. Boom!
